Publications
The Verlag Karl Alber has numerous academic series in the fields of ethics/practical philosophy, phenomenology and philosophy of religion in its portfolio. Alber also publishes seven annuals. They are distinguished by the fact that – supervised by renowned editors – they continuously work on their philosophical field, stimulate discussions and inform about the current state of research. They are accompanied and supported by a broad-based academic advisory board.
Ethics and practical philosophy
In addition to the academic discussion of fundamental moral and ethical issues, this programme area includes current discussions on applied ethics and political philosophy, which it represents in the form of annuals, status reports, outstanding qualification publications and anthologies that are up-to-date in research.
